Case Studies

Original: Budget DIY store vinyl doors that were peeling with very worn budget work tops.

The Brief: To freshen a tired kitchen in a small space with new doors and worktops together with a couple of new cabinets.

Kitchen Chosen: From our Bella range they chose Newport style doors finished in Alabaster with all matching accessories such as cornice, light rails and plinths.
Worktops: Axiom (by Formica) 40 mm thick high pressure laminated work tops in Jenna Grey pattern.

Scope of works: This was a simple door and worktop replacement with two additional cabinets fitted; here is a list of refurbishment works we completed on this project.

Replace all door and drawer fronts.
Supply and fit new matching cornice, light rail and plinths.
Supply and fit an open end display shelf unit.
Dress the show ends of all units with our matching Alabaster vinyl.
Replace all door hinges with new Blum all metal hinges.
Refurbish (polish) the existing stainless steel sink and refit into the new worktops.
Fit new work tops.
Supply and fit a purpose made glass door display cabinet fitted above a doorway (not shown here).
Fit our Satin Chrome slim strap handles.
Supply a fitted cutlery tray.
Fit heat deflector next to free standing oven.

Total doors and drawer fronts: 16 + additional cabs               Total inclusive cost of all works (2011)    £1894.00
